- 1 cup of brown sugar
- ½ cup of heavy whipping cream
- ½ stick of butter
- pinch of salt
- 2 tsp of vanilla extract
- Place brown sugar, heavy whipping cream, butter, and salt in a sauce pan on medium heat.
- Whisk slowly but constantly while cooking.
- Allow sauce to blend and come to a low boil.
- When sauce begins to boil, add vanilla extract and allow to cook for one minute.
- Take off the heat and let cool.
- Place the sauce in a container and serve or store. Enjoy!
